Restorative & Implant Dentistry
Single Dental Implant
A titanium post surgically placed into the jawbone to act as an artificial root, capped with a custom ceramic crown. This is for patients missing a single tooth who want a permanent, standalone replacement that functions like a natural tooth.
Technologies
If left untreated
A gap can allow neighbouring teeth to tip and the opposing tooth to over-erupt.
Bone in the space continues to shrink, which can make later implants harder.

- Duration

Methodology
Treatment Stages
Step 1. Plan and scans
Bone and bite are assessed. A surgical guide is used when it improves accuracy.
Step 2. Placement
The implant is placed under local anaesthetic. A temporary tooth may be fitted when suitable.
Step 3. Crown
After healing, a ceramic crown is made and fitted to the implant.
