Composite bonding for chipped edges

Small chips and gaps can often be restored in one visit with resin, without preparing healthy enamel.

Composite bonding for chipped edges

When bonding is enough

Edge chips, small gaps, and local discolouration are the usual indications.

Heavily worn teeth, or a bite that is still unstable, are assessed for a night guard or orthodontics first.

Maintenance

Resin stains and chips more readily than ceramic. Patients are told the likely review interval before treatment.

Bonding is available at Marylebone and at Richmond.
